I seem to have swollen gums (along the margin) on my upper right jaw. What is the best way to treat this?

I read up & found that I maybe suffering from gum infection or GINGIVITIS. Dun tink it's decayed tooth cause I js went to the dentist 2 months bck & she did & x-ray on my upper right jaw & found no holes. Any suggestion on treating this infection quickly? Been having slight pain for abt 2 days, along the margin of the gums of 2 teeth & in between the teeth as well; gargling with oral-b mouthrinse also.

Teenage boy with seizures?

My 16 year old brother has had two tonic-clonic seizures in the past two months, once while driving and once over the lunch hour. He is an active 16 year old (involved in many sports) and a healthy eater (doesn't eat fast food or drink pop). He had an EEG two months ago (after the 1st) which showed some miss firing in his brain. We aren't able to get him in to see a neurologist in our area because he is under the age of 18, and the pediatric neurologist is not able to see him until the end of October. The ER today tried to get him in earlier due to his second seizure, but they refuse. They suggested he go on medication to stop the seizures, without seeing him. Is there anything our family can do?

Why are our tax dollars being spent in such a manner on Military resort life style?

I have been living in Japan and see a lot of our tax dollars going for some luxury items in the military bases here. Did you know we are giving housing allowances to people who do not want to live on a base? It goes pretty high $1200.00 a month. Why are military people living here in a resort life style, bases have a host of restaurants, famous fast food and expensive elegant ones, private golf courses, private marina, private beaches, tons of sport activities, cable TV, schools and day care for kids. I always thought of servicemen being lonely overseas, well they are not they have their wholes family with them and living pretty well. We are paying for the moving here and back. You can not find in the private sector benefits like they are getting here. Remember that we are paying for all this with tax dollars. I get to see the military channel on my TV by mistake, and if you could see it I think you would be as shocked as I to see all that is going on here. I am sure this is the case with all the bases all over the world. We should have this all investigated and accounted for by our government,　agree?

My pregnant friend has nothing for her baby due in feb!?

My friend is 31 weeks pregnant with a little girl-due feb 16th. She has no job because she is so far along. He bf and babys dad just returned from national guard training in oklahoma (we live in ohio) on nov. 1st. he told her before he left on june 5th 08 to go ahead and sign a 1 year lease starting for october 08 in a rental house. She did but now he doesn't want to move in, he would rather stay with his mom a few towns south. He works good paying job on a farm and also has national guard money but he is very reluctant to purchase any thing for the baby or pay the house bills. My friend babysits 4 nights a week and earns a little bit of money. Her mom lives next door so she mostley eats and showers over there. She is on WIC and gets cheese, milk, eggs, juice, ect. and the baby will be on wic formula when she's born. She did have a baby shower but she got mostley things for 3 month old babies and alot of unnesscary things like piggy banks and keepsake hair bows and teddy bears. My other friend and i plan to go to right to life in the morning (which is a place that gives out free maternity and baby clothes) but where can i go to get free or reduced price things for my friend and her expectant baby since her bf won't help out??? she also needs things for her house like dishes and cups and can openers and cleaning products and just basic household necessities and daily living needs. Her mom babysits all day as a job and makes a couple hundred a week and her dad is a roofer which is seasonal work. They have two other little girls to raise and a house of there own to maintain so they help out by letting her eat there and bathe there. So what can i buy and where to help my friend? To be honest, I think you have made some astute observations and have basically answered your own question. Canada was a British colony longer than was the USA, so retained more British influence. I also think that, with the demise of the British Empire, Canada and England have become more similar in politics and influence - as middle powers rather than super powers. The USA's status as the world's biggest superpower gives it a unique identity and a type of national patriotism that we just don't see in the UK or Canada.

I am selling a car for a friend(gal) to a friend(guy). The car was not being driven at all, so there was no insurance on the car. I gave the car to the guy so that he would be able to check it out and get it inspected before the transaction would be completed. However, before the deal was completed, the car got stolen. A week later, the car was recovered with damages (e.g. missing tires, missing bumper, etc). 1) Is the guy liable for damages? 2) Or is the gal responsible for all repairs. Back pain on lower left side?

I've had this pain a few times before but it usually disappears on its own within a few hours or overnight. I've had it now for over 24 hours. It's right where my left side love handle is, but it's inside. I can't tell if pushing on the area causes more pain. My stomach hurts occasionally, it's probably just the pain making me nauseous. 1989 Ford Taurus Idle?

I have a 1989 Ford Taurus GL with a 3.0L Vulcan V6. When my car is cold, and I rev it, maybe 30 seconds after it been started, when the RPM's come down, they go down too low, and it sputters, the goes back up to normal idle. It also does the same thing when I go into reverse, and it kinda does it when I go into drive, but for the most part, reverse. When I have it in park. I always backout of my drive way, then put it into drive and drive off. Well at a stop sign not to far away from my house, I decided to put it into reverse, since it had been clunking into reverse, and I wanted to see if it was still doing it. So I put it into Park, waited about 5 Seconds, then put it into reverse, and the RPMS's dropped, headlights, and interior lights dimmed, then the idle went back up to normal. I have done a tune up myself on it about 3 months ago. I changed the sparkplugs to Platnium ones, that last 75'000 miles. I changed the rotor in the distributor, and the fuel filter, and put in Lucas Fuel injector cleaner, and also ran my car on this stuff from a can, it wasnt seafoam, what it was was a can that hooked up to the fuel injectors, and we byped the fuel system, turned it off, then ran the car on the can, until it ran out. Ran reppt good after that. Then about a month later my car started idleing weird, it would rev up and down quickly when it was cold., maybe 250 rpm difference, and it would be maybe 1150 for half a second, then drop to 900, and continued to do that, at an idle. I noticed that it stopped when it was warmed up. about a month ago I disconnected the battery for a minute and hooked it back up and it problem was solved. But now its starting to do that thing when I put it into gear when its cold, but the RPM's dont hunt around like they did before I disconnected, and reconnected the battery. Whats wrong? I also used a m airflow sensor cleaner on it when i tuned it up about 3 months ago, since the oil from the KNN filter got on the sensor i guess.

I sort of get offended when people that claim to not be racist make comments like not all black people are ghetto just some are especially when people say that's just in low-income neighborhoods. Or when people say I have 2 black friends that speak proper english or that work hard. Windows vista aero problem?

In the past month or so, overtime in an espn televised WNBA game has made me miss the first 2 innings in the game where Bonds broke the HR record, and the first quarter of team USA vs. Brazil in the fiba basketball tournament. Why would ESPN ever allow such a thing to happen? I'm not against women playing sports. In fact, I've coached girls' youth basketball teams. I don't, however, understand how espn could devote any time what so ever to the wnba. They have to be losing money by devoting programming time to women's basketball. 90% of ESPN's audience is comprised of men, and men don't want to watch the WNBA. It makes no sense. For about a year now I have been having extreme lower back pain usually focused to my lower right side and/or hip that will last for about a week right after my period. When the pain initially happens I seem to also have extreme anxiety which will last for about an hour or so. Also, I have chronic fatigue. I have been to my general doctor, and gyno, and they haven't been able to help. They did do a sonogram, but said everything looked normal. Okay, so there's this girl that I like. I've been through a lot, but I'm completely afraid of her. I shake when I try to talk to her, and it's just not a pretty sight. My fiance and I have been together only about 4 mos. In that 4 mos before we moved in together.... everything was fine. WE moved in together last week and hell broke loose regarding an ex of his. I had to see how wonderful this person was,... and I Am not sure why. So I kept prying and poking. After his description of her I was sure he still loved her and he told me that he did. He also told me that he still loved his other ex-wife. He then told me that he loved me and thought I was pretty also. For some reason... that didnt fix it at all. So, I kept up my pryin, etc... Last nite I Came in and was very emotional... I was cryin and upset. I told him why. He was bein told why I was pryin. He wasnt even thinkn about what or why I was doin that... he was talkin about what she did to him, her job and how it was lop sided, how she pushed him away, and he did keep sayin he was sorry for doin that over and over. ( BTW... my computer letter jee) doesnt work. My boyfriend got drunk and choked me, then the next day sincerely apologized what do i do?

My boyfriend and I went to a camp fire in which everyone there was already drunk, he took it as he needed to catch up and started chugging a bottle of Jose, by the end of the night he was belligerent and bragging about having a conversation with another girl at work about how she enjoys the "Shocker". I am a jealous person and so i got upset and after so much of it decided it was time to go home. Once at home i kept my distance from him because i knew he was drunk and didnt want to fight with him while he was intoxicated, he became very sick and started throwing up. i was still upset so i didnt go into the bathroom and comfort him like he does to me when i get sick, this of course set him off and he yelled at me saying i didnt care about him. he went to bed and a little bit later he rushed back to the bathroom continuing the throwing up, this time i felt bad and decided to go sit with him, while he heaved i tickled his back and while i tickled his back in between dry heaving he would call me harsh names and say that he hated drinking around me and that i didnt care for him ect, finally i got fed up with it and slapped him in the back and said F you im not staying in here for this, before i got the full sentence out he turned around from the toilet and choked me up against the wall.. when we awoke he remembered choking me but nothing else, as i explained the yelling and how he pushed me and wouldnt let go of my arms when i tried to get away. the color from his face drained and he sincerely apologized, he said he had never gotten physical with a woman before in his life (he had never been physical with me prior to this either) he told me he would support whatever decision i made whether it was to stay with him and accept his apology or if i felt unsafe, to leave him. for the next few hours he kept his distance from me, he couldnt even look at me. it has been a few days and i said i accepted his apology but i honestly dont know if that was what i should of have done,
