I have experienced retaliation, threats, and demotion by my employer for requesting a payroll audit by a 3rd?

As it turns out, I was correct and am now faced with $10,000+ of unpaid wages for a 10 month period. I've lost weight-can't sleep. Any advice out there? Please only the genuine. I am turning in the audit to the labor commissioner tomorrow.
