Windows vista aero problem?

I have installed windows vista home premium for a week now and i've been using aero gl the whole time. Yesterday, I opened up limewire like i usually do everyday, and when you do, the aero gl turns back to home basic interface. However, this time, it stayed. I tried closing all programs and restarting the pc, but it still stayed at home basic. Any clues on what happened? btw, I also tried reinstalling java runtime 6, no help. Thanks in advance.
