What do you make of Areva (largest maker of nuclear reactors) buying Ausra (solar thermal manufacturer)?

If the "world's largest maker of nuclear reactors" is doing so well, It makes me think nuclear isn't such a bad business to be in as you had previously implied. I would never ume they give the actual reason they made the purchase. It is one energy company buying a competing one. Presumably they thought it would be profitable or they were eliminating some competition. I would guess the former. They aren't moving to solar thermal. It isn't like they are getting out of nuclear. They are simply expanding their company.
